I recommend choosing a drift zone/event, that is close to a garage, gas station or parts shop. I also recommend trying lower level parts to really fine tune your car, in general the higher levels are better but not always. Make sure to have a heap of parts in your inventory, before you leave the garage if your not testing near the parts shop. But they can score high points with the rite set up, especially for staying on track. *Personally I don’t enjoy the feel of off-road tired or suspension. Quite a few cars don’t work well with drag tires and some builds work well with * off-road tires. I personally don’t like the feel of off-road tires, as they don’t suit my style but they are worth a mention. Off-road can also be used for on road drifting, if used rite and if you can tame them, they can rack up big points without using extensions. The only issue that takes some getting used to with drag tires is forcing them to break traction, as sometimes when you want to lose traction to initiate a drift, or transition between drifting angles/direction it can be difficult to cause drag tires too break traction, but with practice it will be minimal. For all wheel drive cars I recommend showcase or drift tires and for off-road drifting I recommend speedcross or drift tires. Some tires give more drift angle, drift parts giving the most. I find that drag tires give the best balance of grip, speed and angle.
